At the moment my main thought is how guilty I feel about pandering to the trend for lower case everywhere: it's a triumph of "design" in the aesthetic sense over more practical considerations, like readability. Mixed-case text is more readable than all lower case or ALL UPPER CASE.

I'm not sure about having white text on a dark background either. This is acceptable for small amounts of text but not for things that you have to read rather than skim. So we'll try to keep it short.
